NICKNAME: Scotti or Coach

FUN FACT ABOUT YOU: I did some childhood stage acting growing up.

Scott is an East Coast guy born in Lowell, MA and raised in Pelham, NH. He Spent his childhood and time throughout high school playing any and all sports he could. His major focus was Soccer and Baseball, but spent most of his offseason snowboarding. Scott attended New England College in Henniker, NH. Here he studied and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology in 2010. Scott was a 2 sport collegiate athlete attaining multiple awards for soccer over the course of his career including Rookie of the Year and MVP honors. The biggest obstacles he says he faced were his injuries during his playing career. He has had multiple ankle and leg fractures as well as surgery to repair tendons he damaged playing. This would eventually lead him to his passion for injury prevention and coaching and also how he relates to his athletes who have suffered serious sports injuries and are looking to get back to optimal shape.

Coaching Experience:

Scott has spent time coaching for Sea Coast United Soccer Club’s U-18 Boys Premier team and worked as a coach and player for the New Hampshire Phantoms Soccer Club. Here he coached all age’s from U-6 to assisting and playing with the Phantoms Semi Pro team.

Scott moved from coaching in New Hampshire to Massachusetts where he began his post college education interning with the New England Revolutions pro soccer team and Physical Therapist, Athletic Trainer, and Strength Specialist, Ara Sakayan. Scott spent these two years learning, living, and enjoying Boston. He misses real New England Clam "Chowdah", East Coast pizza, and legitimate sports arguments.

Rehab United Experience:

Scott moved to San Diego in late 2011 where he began working at Rehab United and hasn’t looked back since. He has grown over the years from a back office employee, physical therapy aide, to the Director of Sports Performance. He has spent time running clinics, camps and workouts for groups all over San Diego. He has worked with individuals for Tri athletes, Iron men/women, Professional boxers, Professional baseball players, Soccer, and many more. He has worked with many Soccer clubs in San Diego including the Albion Pro’s Professional soccer team, SD Surf, and many others. Scott is also one of our Baseball Mechanics and Conditioning (BMAC) coaches. Scott’s ability to work with athletes of all levels is attributed by his strong understanding of AFS, Biomechanics, and sports injuries. Scott oversees operations for SPC at all locations and still works with athletes and small groups on a regular basis.
