Biography
Bridget grew up in a small town in North Dakota, but until recently has spent most of her adult life in New York City. At 16, she began training in professional dance programs around the country before getting a B.F.A in dance from the University of Minnesota. She went on to work as a dancer, dance captain, and assistant choreographer in the musical theatre industry for the next 7 years. After years of travel and a plethora of mild dance-related injuries, Bridget, eager to continue working with people and to continue her quest to learn more about the human body, returned to NYC to attend physical therapy graduate school at New York University. While at NYU, Bridget received the Elizabeth C. Addoms Award for Excellence in Academic and Clinical Performance.
After an exciting decision to relocate to San Diego, Bridget fulfilled a final clinical rotation as part of her education with the crew at Rehab United in Carmel Valley and is thrilled to have become an official team member. Bridget is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA and a Graston Technique M1 Provider.
