Mary moved to the San Diego area in the summer of 2023 from Houston, Texas, where she was working as a neurological physical therapist in an inpatient and outpatient setting for two years. There, she worked primarily with individuals with various brain injuries, such as stroke and traumatic brain injuries (TBI).

Mary also has experience working with various other neurological disorders like Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Dementia, and more. Regardless of diagnosis, Mary loves working with individuals of all functional levels to help them become more functionally independent and help them return to activities that bring them joy.

When not in the clinic, Mary enjoys spending time outside rollerblading, hiking, or playing sports like basketball or volleyball with friends. She loves learning new things and trying new foods. Her favorite thing about moving to San Diego is the proximity to the beach, as she often will walk along the water and enjoy the sunshine.
